The victory of Armenian team in favor of Russia

On the penultimate, 8th round of the world team chess tournament being held in Turkish Bursa city the Armenian team took a victory over the leading USA chess team with 2.5:1.5 points. Levon Aronyan took a victory over Hikaru Nakamura.

Before that Hikaru reached phenomenal results receiving 5.5 points from possible 6. But Aronyan managed to neutralize Nakamura. The strategy of our chess player was perfect.

Due to Levon the Armenian team took a brilliant victory as the other games, Alexander Onishchuk – Vladimir Hakobyan, Arman Pashikyan – Yuri Shulman and Varuzhan Hakobyan (USA) – Tigran L. Petrosyan, ended in draw. The victory of Armenian team allowed the Russian chess team to be the leader of the tournament list.
