President says is pleased with Control Chamber’s work

Today, Armenia’s President Serge Sarkisian has met with Control Chamber’s staff, a spokesperson to the Cabinet reported.

Control Chamber’s Chairman Ishkhan Zakarian presented the 2009 Report and said of the steps to be taken in 2010.

“Armenia faced many difficulties. It’s naively to think it is possible to solve all the problems at one blow. Only those people who have no idea about number of problems and human resources to manage can think so. We should focus on the long, purposeful, and hard work,” said President Sarkisian. He said it is Control Chamber’s objective to fix issues and gaps in the management system and make true decisions.

“I am pleased with the Control Chamber’s work over 2009, but this doesn’t mean that all the issues are solved and there is no need to develop. On the contrary, this means that the Chamber started working well; it’s necessary to deepen our knowledge and improve work’s quality,” added President.

President Sarkisian also awarded three Chamber’s fellow workers with prizes for scrupulosity work and effective efforts.
