More than 250 Armenia’s businesses had already been registered at the electronic document management system toolkit receiving their signs, told Aysor’s correspondent Armen Alaverdian, Deputy Chief of the Committee on State Revenues.
The law came in force calling for banks, credit and insurance companies to present their electronic tax reports by July 1, while companies with more than 100 million drams turnover should go to tracking and storing electronic documents after July 1, according to Armen Alaverdian.
“The electronic document management system has an objective to provide using of system that is free from subjectivity and manual work. It will provide database for analysis, and only risk companies will be administrated,” he said.
Electronic Document Management System is operating at two centers; some more centers will open by summer in Shirak, Vanadzor, and Kapan.
“Unfortunately, we get behind of CIS countries. For example, 75% of tax reports of Kazakhstan are trucked and stored in the EDMS. We are just at the beginning of the process,” said Armen Alaverdian.
