‘Turkey is interested in Karabakh’s involvement’
Parliamentarian, a member of Republican Party of Armenia Mkrtich Minasian said it’s too early to speak of the fast solution to the Karabakh conflict. However, bilateral and trilateral meetings between presidents and ongoing negotiations are marking a certain progress, according to him.
Referring to the trilateral meeting between Presidents Serge Sarkisian of Armenia, Ilham Aliev of Azerbaijan, and Dmitry Medvedev of Russia, held in Russia’s Sochi, Mkrtich Minasian said it’s important that Nagorno-Karabakh will become negotiator.
“This is a result of Armenia’s policy,” said parliamentarian.
Tigran Karapetian, leader of the People’s Party of Armenia, in his turn, said Turkey is interested in Karabakh’s involvement in the talks. “Turkey wishes for Karabakh’s involvement in the talks. At this time, Turkey can without ruffle or excitement open the border,” he said.
