Armenia: 2009’s biggest taxpayers listed
Press Office of Armenia’s’ Committee on State Revenues has released the list of country’s biggest taxpayers for 2009. Three companies – “ArmRosgazprom”, “Alex-Grig”, and “K-Telecom” – top the list with 50,450 billion dram tax, followed by “ArmenTel”, “Flash”, and “City Petrol Group” with 34.559 billion dram tax.
The global world crisis influenced rating marking 2008’s top-seeded “Copper-Molybdenum Combine of Zangezur” as number 8 for 2009 with 6.382 billion dram tax.
Some before unknown companies were listed either, among them “Widim Distribyushn” (6.618 billion dram tax). Starting work since November 2009 “Orange” mobile operator is number 11 with 4,395 billion dram tax.
The “International Masis Tobacco” (place 10) and the “Grand Tobacco” (place 17) paid together 9,104 billion dram tax. The “Mika Corporation” is the fifteenth with 2,999 billion dram tax, and “Mika Cement” with 543.4 million dram tax is the 114th.
2009 biggest bank taxpayers are “AkbaKredit Agricole Bank” (17th place with 2,339 billion dram tax) followed by “Ardshinin West Bank” (2.294 billion dram tax) and “VTB-Armenia Bank” (2,202 billion dram tax).
