Avetik Grigoryan wins 70th Armenian Champs 2010
Avetik Grigorian won champion’s title of the 70th Armenian Chess Championship 2010. Despite the fact that champion’s name was already known, there was some intrigue among three top-places’ ranging.
Tigran Petrosian, Tigran Kocharian, Zaven Andreasian, and Robert Hovhannisian at 5,5 points are on second and third places: Tigran Petrosian - Tigran Kocharian, Zaven Andreasian – Robert Hovhannisian set ended in draw.
Artashes Minasian won over David Kalashian and seeded the forth. Artur Chibukhchian and Hrant Melkumian shared a point.
Avetik Grigorian led through all rounds and didn’t slow down in the last round winning over David Petrosian.
