The supplies of crawfish decrease too
“The investigations of 2009 have shown that the crawfish supplies in Sevan lake have been lessened with about 370 tones and are of about 1000 tone now”, - Elvira Ghukasyan said today.
The institution has started the investigation of crawfish in the lake Sevan since 2004. According to the speaker each year they become sure that the supplies of the crawfish decrease. E. Ghukasyan conditioned it with the fact that the inhabitants of Gegharqunik region have no alternative and the pressure is on the crawfish.
“The institution has counted the supplies of the crawfish, and for the 2010 have recorded the permissible limit, which is 250 tones, which is less than during the previous years” , - E. Ghukasyan said.
