SCR participates in TRACECA meeting
The South Caucasus Railways participated in the TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia) meeting, which was held in Turkey’s Istanbul, on February 11-14.
Vahe Davtian, Director of company’s press office, presented the SCR’s activities, mission, strategic goals and tasks, investment plan for 2010, and 2008-2009 reports, a spokesperson for the company said. Particular attention was paid to presenting the projects of building of a new logistics center at Armenian-Turkish border (Akhurian Station).
TRACEKA guests and participants, represented mostly by transport companies and organization’s members, learnt about the Akhurian logistics center which is expected to be a affiliated company with shared structure. Referring to this, Vahe Davtian invited to visit Armenia and learn more about the SCR’s projects and their development.
“The South Caucasus Railways has designed its financial project up to 2038, showing its stability and good atmosphere for investments. We are open for cooperation and are ready to consider any proposals by international banks, corporations, and organisations to cooperate in realization of our projects,” spoke to the TRACECA Vahe Davtian.
