US deliver to China, Russia proposals on sanctions against Iran
The Obama administration and U.S.’s allies -- the UK and France – have delivered to Russia and China proposals on further sanctions against Iran. In particularly, they ask to support their push for a following round of sanctions against Tehran over its refusal to stop enriching uranium - a possible step to building atomic weapons.
Russian officials of the Foreign Ministry and the UN representatives of Russia still keep silence and don’t comment anything. According to some sources, new sanctions include measures against Iranian leaders and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Included in sanctioned spheres are banking, insurance, navigation, etc. These all are part of those sanctions which were adopted by the UN Security Council in October 2006. Some additional businesses and individuals will be listed to be objected to sanctions on freezing of foreign banking accounts and a ban on foreign travels.
