Chessplayers’ results at men&women's chess champs in Rijeka
Among Armenia’s chess players at the European individual men&women's chess championship in Croatia’s Rijeka, best result is shown by Vladimir Akopian, who won over Vitskovich, and at 7 pointes seeded the 8th. Ukraine’s Zakhar Efimenko, who seeded the second, earned 8 points; and tournament’s top-seeded Nepomniachtchi Ian of Russia has 9 points.
Hrant Melkumian showed poor start in round nine, and lost to Timofeev, seeding the 29th.
Lilit Galoyan tops among women, adding a point after individual set with Elina Danielian (both from Armenia).
