Saakashvili will begin war again, says Burjanadze
“Saakashvili will begin war again, and it will crush the country,” said ex-speaker of Georgia, leader of the oppositional United Georgia Democratic Movement Nino Burjanadze when asked to comment last news in relation to Imedi channel’s fake reportage about Russian attack on Georgia. In particular, Week’s Palette paper reports that Georgia’s President Mikheil Saakashvili was going to bring tanks to streets of Tbilisi to make the fake reportage about invasion of the country more convincing.
According to Week’s Palette paper, "American consultants dissuaded Saakashvili.”
Nino Burjanadze said she isn’t surprised by this, pointing the ‘psychological state of Mikheil Saakashvili.’
On March 13 a fake reportage was played out on Georgian television about Russian invasion of the country and killing of Georgia’s President. The report caused panic in the country. Citing the sources at government, Journalists Union’s chairman Irma Inashvili said that country’s president and his supporters had prepared the reportage by themselves.
Mikheil Saakashvili denied any involvement in the scandalous story.
