Six powers to continue talks on sanctions against Iran
After talks in New York at Britain's UN mission the six major powers have agreed to further discussions on new UN sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program.
Envoys of Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany held Thursday a three-hour meeting behind closed doors, describing it later as ‘worthwhile discussion.’
“We had a worthwhile," U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice told reporters at the end of the meeting.
"We look forward to continuing these discussions here in New York and in capitals in the days and weeks to come." she added.
