Tigran Martirosyan is champion of Europe
The Armenian sportsmen weightlifter Tigran Martirosyan who was participating in the contest of weightlifting in the capital city of Belarus, was incomparable. He defended the title of the champion of Europe with a great success and recorded 360 kg result. He was unapproachable for his rivals. With 9 kg he surpassed the Polish sportsmen Qshishtof Shramyak who was just behind T. Martirosyan. The bronze medal went to the representative of Byelorussia Nikolay Chernyakin.
T. Martirosyan took small golden medals also in picking up and pushing exercises. In the exercise of picking up he roused a bar of 165 kg. and in the exercise pushing he roused 195 kgs, he wanted also to make a record of the European Union but his attempt failed.
Krishtof Shramyak roused 160 and 191kgs, Nikolay Chernyak 161 and 185 kgs.
The two Armenian representatives have gained 4 golden and 1 silver medals. Something prompts we are going to have champions of Europe…
