Kyrgyzstan: several Envoys dismissed by provisional government
The provisional people's government of Kyrgyzstan has dismissed Ambassadors to several countries, including Russia and the United States.
Among the dismissed Ambassadors is Marat Bakiyev, brother of the deposed president, who served as Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Germany and Norway. Others are: Ambassador to Russia Raimkul Attokurov, Ambassador to U.S. Zamira Sydykova, and Ambassador to Turkey Tashboo Jumagulov.
The dismissal came into force by an order, signed by nation’s interim leader Roza Otunbayeva on April 8.
