Six major powers discuss mew possible sanctions against Iran
Six major powers held the second round of talks Wednesday, discussing new possible sanctions against Iran for refusing to negotiate on its nuclear program.
After three-hour talks, Russia's U.N. Ambassador Vitaly Churkin, and China's U.N. Ambassador Li Baodong described the discussion as "very constructive". Churkin said the six powers would meet again "very soon."
Parties focused on the draft resolution by the United Nations, which was issued in January by the United States. The resolution consists of some changes, proposed by Britain, France and Germany.
