The third spring construction exhibition on May 27 – 29

During this spring it is the third construction exhibition to take place on May 27 – 29, 2010. The thematic divisions of the 9th international professional exhibitions of “Mer Doun” are construction, planning, repairing, furniture, doors and windows, technologies, techniques, gas, thermo and energy systems, heating and air conditioning, routine techniques, painting materials, insurance, etc.

The organizer of the exhibition, head of the “Expomedia” exhibition project Anahit Hakobyan informed Aysor.am that each year “Mer Doun” has different aims. For example last year it was aimed at showing the Armenian – Diaspora the products of our country in that sphere thus the exhibition was held with the conference dedicated to the Armenian – Diaspora architectures.

“The exhibition of this year is aimed at giving opportunity to the regional companies to work together, to get them together and to introduce them to each other and to try to overcome this crises together,” said A. Hakobyan.

She also mentioned that at present 70 companies have presented an application for participation form almost all the regions of Armenia. According to the organizers the exhibition gives an opportunity to the Armenian market of construction to be introduced to the consumer, and to make exchange the experience, as well as examining the Armenian market. The exhibition “Mer Doun” traditionally is being held in spring before the hot time of the constructions.

The exhibition is supported by the Armenian Ministry of Construction, Yerevan Municipality,  the Armenian agency of development. The exhibition will be held in the hall of sittings of the RA Government.
