Armenian economy overcomes crisis
Armenia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 9,5% in January-March of 2010 and estimated to be 10% in industry, nearly 6% in the services, and 3% in the agriculture, according to reports by chief of the Parliament Finance and Budget Commission Gagik Minasian.
He told journalists that this is the first time Armenian economy didn’t register decline. The export increased by 60%, import increased by 23%. During the reported period revenue is estimated to be increased by 17%, while expenses increased by 10%.
“During the reported period Armenia is overcoming the crisis and is moving to the pre-crisis figures,” said Gagik Minasian.
