Moscow: number of planes may be reduced at Parade
Russian Air Forces will probably reduce number of planes, which are to fly for a spectacular air show to mark the 65th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945s, country’s Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov announced.
In particular, the number of planes can be reduced from 127 to 96 if the weather is bad.
“This [bad weather] can happen. If so, we will reduce the number of planes to 96. We’ll have to focus on helicopters for an air show, but reduce number of planes,” said Anatoly Serdyukov, adding that officers are ready to disperse clouds if necessary in the course of solemn events, timed to the Victory Day.
