Hundreds of flights canceled because of the volcano
Wednesday, hundreds of flights were cancelled in Ireland and Scotland because of new volcanic ash emitting from the Iceland volcano, and now England airspace may be closed soon, informs the Examiner.com.
Britain's Civil Aviation Authority said that the ash threat may reach northwestern England and Wales, but would most likely miss the four major airports in London.
In the waiting halls of the airports thousands of people are gathered. However they will not have to wait for so long time, if the volcano calms down all the flights will recover today, from the second half of the day, the sources say.
