63rd annual Cannes Film Festival kicks off
The 63rd annual Cannes Film Festival is opening Wednesday in the south of France, gathering together directors, stars, celebrities, photographers, journalists, and movie fans for a famous film festival.
Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" will open the festival at night screening. Oliver Stone's "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" and Woody Allen's "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" will also have their moment in the festival spotlight.
The Cannes Film Festival 2010 will last from May 12 to 23, providing a competition, in which films compete for that impressive Golden Palm, the out of competition films, and the films of "un certain regard."
This year’s festival puts only 19 films on competition instead of the usual 20 to 22.
