Up to 4,000 supporters of Kyrgyz interim power gather in Bishkek
Nearly four thousand supporters of the new interim government of Kyrgyzstan are gathering on Monday in Bishkek.
Roza Otunbayeva, the interim leader of the country and ex-foreign minister, spoke to the rally. She said: “Attempts to stage the counter-revolution on May 12-14 couldn’t divide our nation, but rather integrated. The goal of the Kyrgyz interim government is to adopt a new Constitution and hold new clear and honest presidential and parliamentary elections. The interim government will hand over the office to the newly and legally elected government of Kyrgyzstan.”
