Georgian Airways receives approval for Moscow-Tbilisi flights
The private Georgian carrier, Georgian Airways, has received approval from the Russian Transport Ministry to conduct direct charter flights between Tbilisi and Moscow within the period from May 24 to November 1 of 2010, Georgian Airways spokeswoman Nino Giorgobiani told Interfax Monday.
“The flights will be conducted three or four times a week depending on the passengers flow,” she said.
Last week Georgian Airways sent a request to the Russian Transport Ministry for approval of some 12 direct charter flights between Tbilisi and Moscow within the period from late May to early July.
