Facebook is more important than parents, say British kids
A shocking new study for government-backed initiative National Family Week questioned 3,000 parents and 1,000 children in Britain and found while two thirds of parents believe the family is the biggest factor in their children’s lives, just 49 percent of kids agree.
The Sun reports that more than a quarter of British children think Facebook is more important than their parents.
Kids living in single parent homes with just their mother found Facebook their most important influence, with 62 per cent ranking it their main influence. Just one in 10 living with their dad and 7% living with both parents thought the social networking site was important.
