Kyrgyzstan to vote for President in October 2011
Kyrgyzstan's new president will take office on January 1, 2012, told media the deputy chairman of the Kyrgyz interim government Omurbek Tekenbayev.
“The elections will be held in October 2011,” media quoted Tekenbayev as saying in his interview on the First National TV.
In accordance with the Interim government’s Decree of May 19, interim leader of the country Roza Otunmayeva will serve at office till December 31, 2011.
