Day of silence in Polish presidential elections
Election campaigning came to close Saturday as Poland prepares for Sunday's presidential poll.
Campaigning is not allowed on the day before the election, giving candidates in the running a chance to catch their breath.
Key candidates are Poland’s acting president, parliament speaker Bronislaw Komorowski, and late president’s twin brother, leader of the Law and Justice party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
Tomorrow the Polish voters cast their ballots, electing their next president nearly four months earlier than it was originally planned. The election date was moved up after Poland's president, Lech Kaczynski, was killed along with 95 others in a plane crash on April 10 on the way to Russia.
