Iran puts ban on two IAEA inspectors’ entry to country
Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, said Monday that Iran has banned two IAEA inspectors from visiting its nuclear facilities because they filed false information on the country's nuclear program.
He added that the two inspectors had also leaked information about the Iranian atomic work before it was due to be officially announced, according to report by ISNA news agency.
"These two inspectors do not have the right to come to Iran because they leaked information before it was to be officially announced and they also filed a false report," ISNA quotes Salehi as saying.
“In other words because of these two reasons it has led us to ban their coming to Iran," he said, adding that Iran has asked the IAEA to replace the two inspectors with new officials, who would be allowed to visit Iran to check its nuclear facilities.
