Trade Financing Academy seminars launched
The first series of Trade Financing Academy seminars were launched at the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center (SME Development National Center of Armenia) today. The Trade Financing Academy was established within the framework of HSBC Bank Armenia - SME Development National Center Fund cooperation. It aims at assisting companies carrying out export and import in Armenia to use the current trade abilities to the maximum extent.
“The Academy will help to raise working quality of entities carrying out export and import in foreign trade sphere in Armenia. Academy courses will focus on the complete arsenal of foreign trade financing instruments and abilities, will enable its participants to assess all risks in foreign trade sphere and to more efficiently manage them to be able to organize their work more correctly in order to enter foreign market,” SME Development National Center of Armenia Executive Director Karen Gevorgyan told reporters.
According to him, under this HSBC Bank Armenia and SME Development National Center initiative, companies planning to develop business in the foreign trade sphere can attend seminars and lectures, can be provided other trade assistance services. The seminars will be conducted by HSBC Bank Armenia trade financing specialists. Mr. Gevorgyan said that the HSBC initiative is global, similar courses are held in England, France, Georgia, “they have already proved their efficiency.” The courses will be held once in three months.
“We can already see the academy activities results in the coming months,” Mr. Gevorgyan assured.
