Lilit Mkrtchian keeps second position at FIDE Grand Prix
In round seven of the forth stage of the FIDE Grand Prix among women, taking place in Jermuk, Armenia’s chess player Lilit Mkrtchian played against another Armenia’s representative Elina Danielian. Their set ended in draw.
Nana Dzagnadze overcame Maia Chiburdanidze and at 6,5 points is leading the tournament.
Lilit Mkrtchian seeded the second at 5 points. Tatiana Kosintseva won over Shen Yang and scored 5 points.
Martha Fierro won over Xu Yuhua and scored a point; however, she is still the lowest player. Pia Cramling played in draw against Antoaneta Stefanova; Baira Kovanova played in draw against Hou Yifan.
Hou Yifan is on the forth position at 4 points. Elina Danielian, Antoaneta Stefanova and Shen Yang scored 3,5 points, Xu Yuhua scored 3 points, Pia Crampling and Maia Chiburdanidze scored 2,5 points each, Baira Kovanova scored 2 points.
