Burjanadze blames Clinton for disregard of opposition
Ex-speaker of the Georgian Parliament, leader of the Democratic Movement-United Georgia party Nino Burjanadze blamed U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who left for Tbilisi on July 5, for disregard of real Georgian opposition, Vzglyad correspondent in Tbilisi reported.
“Probably, Georgian opposition’s opinion does not interest U.S.,” movement Spokesman told the Pirveli news agency.
According to preliminary information, in Georgia, Clinton will only meet with some representatives of opposition - Our Georgia - Free Democrats party leader Irakli Alasania and Christian-Democratic Movement leader Giorgi Targamadze.
Representatives of more radical opposition think that these movements have become part of the system formed by the Georgian authorities.
