“Neutral position” can lead to new provocations, says Kocharian
Incidents in the line of contact always happen and can happen in future, told Iravunq paper Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian, referring to the June 18-19 armed attack by the Azerbaijani diversionists on Nagorno Karabakh.
“Given with who we deal in, the incidents aren’t excluded in the future,” said Kocharian.
“Condemnations and calls not to use force issued in statements by [the OCSE] Co-Chairs and international organisations are addressed to both sides; however, it’s obvious that the provocation was organised by Azerbaijan,” said politician.
Referring to the neutral reaction of the international community, Kocharian said that “such a neutral position can lead to new provocations” that Azerbaijan can make.
