Armenian MFA: Aliev always gives a false color to talks’ results

Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian in his interview with Iravunq paper has commented Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev’s fast returning to Baku from St. Petersburg when Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani leaders within the framework of the economical forum met to have talks on the settlement to the Karabakh conflict. 

“During this meeting Aliev gave consent; his behavior was strange as after he had come into line, he is trying to say something different,” said Kocharian.

“His organised provocation is outrageous as it’s impossible to organise an attack without permission of the senior authorities,” said politician referring to the June 18-19 armed attack by the Azerbaijani diversionists on Nagorno Karabakh that left 4 Armenian soldiers dead, while 4 others were wounded.

“It was clear that Aliev was unhappy, but with what he was displeased – all his behavior shows. Aliev has been presenting the negotiations, documents and agreements in a distorted form. Meanwhile, the Armenian side never follows this way. Our words match our actions,” said Shavarsh Kocharian.
