Death toll from Pakistan bomb attack reaches 102
The death toll from yesterday's twin suicide bombings in Pakistan reached 102 with 115 people wounded on Saturday, turning it into the deadliest attack this year in the country.
On Friday morning, two suicide bombers, reportedly one on a motorbike, another on foot, attacked a political agent's office located at a crowded bazaar in the Tehsil Yakaghand area of Mohmand agency in northwest Pakistan. The blasts destroyed more than 100 shops and 24 vehicles; more than a hundred people were killed, dozens were wounded. Women and children were among the victims; the damage to a prison building allowed 28 prisoners to flee.
According to reports from medical centers, at least 20 people are in critical conditions.
