R. Hovannisyan speaks about shortcomings and mistakes
Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisyan in his speech at the 6th party congress said that the party has renounced all its criteria brought forward during its formation.
“Within two years and a half Heritage became a party acting not factually but merely legally,” Mr. Hovannisyan declared mentioning that the party had many shortcomings and violations in its policy after the last congress, and part of them were caused by a provocation, others by an internal split.
Specifically, the party leader reminded that “there were some people in the party who declared that the party should abandon National Assembly, however, many of them abandoning the party have not renounced their MP mandates yet.”
Speaking about the “gross violations and mistakes” committed by the party Board R. Hovannisyan called on Heritage members, who were expelled from the party formerly and consider it unfair, to return to the party.
“If abandoning Heritage was a mistake, if it was unfair, the new Board should restore their membership,” Mr. Hovannisyan stressed.
