The victims of flood in Azerbaijan are in blockade
As a result of the overflow of Kur and Araks rivers 1323 people in Sabirabad village have been moved to Shirvan city. 418 people from those villages have temporally settled down in several schools of this city.
According to “Bizim yol” the tent settlement in Shirvan city is protected by the police. The source says that the policemen have surrounded the settlement from 4 sides and they do not allow anyone to enter the territory, the journalists in that number.
Deputy Chief of the press service of the Interior Ministry Ehsan Zahidov informed that the police protect the peace of the people that now are inside the settlement. “People who have had losses from natural disaster live there, people whose peace should be protected. If everyone with a paper and a pan in hand will disturb their peace, spread gossips will not be god. That’s why the police is responsible for their security and the order there. The police is realizing its responsibility,” he said.
