Olympic Committees of Armenia and Russia set to cooperate
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov discussed pension, social, educational reforms today in Yerevan as well as touched upon abilities of cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the sphere of sport.
Olympic construction in Sochi was also discussed.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that establishment of close ties between the two countries’ Olympic Committees is among his visit’s goals.
Mr. Zhukov said that the issue of establishment of a new sport base in Sevan basin was also discussed with the Armenian Prime Minister.
A Cooperation Agreement was signed between National Olympic Committee of Armenia president Gagik Tsarukyan and Russian Olympic Committee president Alexander Zhukov during the visit.
