Schwarzenegger compares Mel Gibson to BP
Governor of California, Hollywood star in the past Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday compared actor Mel Gibson to the BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Schwarzenegger told a group of utility commissioners in Sacramento that while BP appears to have contained its well, "no one has figured out how to contain Mel Gibson." He told to turn off their mobile phones "because we are expecting a call from him”.
Schwarzenegger’s comments, which were immediately met with laughter from the audience, came after a string of allegations against Gibson by Oksana Grigorieva, his ex-girlfriend.
Gibson spokesman Alan Nierob says he is happy to hear that Schwarzenegger is maintaining a sense of humor, adding, that "he's obviously paving the way for a return to showbiz."
"The good news is that BP has contained the oil leak," Arnold Schwarzenegger told the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners.
"That is good news. Finally. Finally. The bad news is that no one has figured out how to contain Mel Gibson. Mel Gibson no one knows how to contain.
“So, this is why I want to ask all of you to just please turn off your cell phones because we are expecting a call from him,” Schwarzenegger is quoted as saying on Mel Gibson.
