Chavez ordered Colombian diplomats to leave Venezuela
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez declared that he is breaking off diplomatic relations with Colombia and commanded Colombian diplomats to leave the country by Sunday.
According to the Venezuelan leader, he “had no choice” after Colombian side accused Venezuela of being a refuge for terrorists from left radical groupings.
Besides, Chavez ordered to strengthen guard of borders with Colombia.
Head of state declared it at his meeting with Diego Maradona in a live broadcast over the national television.
Chavez named Colombian President Álvaro Uribe “mafia boss,” “mad” and “criminal.”
