The British Royal family joins Flickr to share images
The British Royal family has launched a Flickr account with 600 official photos, some dating back to Queen Victoria's reign and including intimate family photos depicting both the Queen and Prince Charles as babies and children.
Up-to-the-minute images of the Queen and other members of the Royal Family will be streamed on to the new Buckingham Palace Flickr page, which goes live tomorrow, Mail Online reported.
The site will have 28 sections covering senior members of the Royal Family including the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Princes William and Harry.
The online photograph album will provide a unique ‘entrance’ into the life and work of the modern Monarchy and will allow Flickr-users to post the photographs in their blogs and other social networks.
