Saakashvili justifies himself for words ‘we’re not negroes’
Saakashvili has found justification for his words on the difference between the Georgians from black people.
Georgian President’s press office released on July 28 a statement containing explanations of his recent address in which there were seen elements of racism, trend News reported.
During a meeting with officers of the Ministry of Finance, Mikheil Saakashvili said “we are not negroes” describing a situation to say “one shouldn’t do so,” said in the statement. This is an everyday saying not containing any racism, said press office. It pointed that President Saakashvili didn’t want to hurt someone’s national feelings.
