Iranian nuclear program again in focus
The U.S. plans a military action over Iran’s nuclear program, if it fails in its attempt to suspend the program in a diplomatic way. Adm Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff declared yesterday evening, RBK reported quoting BBC.
America's top military officer said that opening up a new front in the Middle East through a strike on Iran would be “extremely stressful” for U.S. forces, meanwhile saying that Iran’s nuclear program is unacceptable. He expressed hope that diplomatic sanctions will suspend Tehran’s program.
Note that Iran denies its nuclear program is anything other than peaceful.
