World’s eldest woman lives in Myanmar
A 118-year-old woman from Myanmar is believed to be the oldest female-person in the world, Russian media reported citing the Gerontology Research Group.
Daw Mya Kyi, born in Htaine Kone village in 1892, is four years older than France’s Eugenie Blanchard, born in 1896, who was believed the world’s eldest woman since May 2 after Japanese Kama Chinen died at 115.
Daw Mya Kyi is now living in a monastery in Puak Chan Kone village and is in good health to enjoy the life.
