Armenia expects rich grape harvest this year
Grape harvest will expectedly exceed last year’s figures by 30%; however, selling agreements and deals were signed by 25% less this year, told media Chairman of the Union of Wine-makers of Armenia Avag Haroutyunian.
He said that wholesale prices for grape are being determined by the Yerevan Brandy Distillery. And the determined current price is 130 drams for each kilogram.
“The grape will mostly be harvested within 110-130 drams per kg; its 30% will be harvested within limit of 90-110 drams. The whole grape will be harvested without trace,” stressed Avag Haroutyunian.
