Azerbaijani ruling regime involves singers in election campaign

The Azerbaijani ruling administration made a decision to involve singers in the election campaign and to give presents to voters. The governmental forces held discussions lately on the forthcoming election campaign focusing on holding concert shows within the framework of the campaign, Azadliq reported.

According to a competent source, head of Azerbaijani President’s administration Ramiz Mekhtiyev has lately harshly criticized in press singers who took part in the election campaign of Yeni Azerbaijan party in the last parliamentary elections.

Therefore the issue was seriously discussed in the government. Three concepts of election campaign were proposed: first, involvement of singers in the campaign, second, provision of sufficient number of people for the election campaign, third, giving presents to voters.
