Israel claims to continue pressure on Iran
Israel has called the international community to continue pressure on Iran in order to force it to stop its nuclear programme and meet the international claims.
"It is totally unacceptable that a country that blatantly violates decisions of the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency, and ignores its commitment to the Non-Proliferation Treaty charter, will enjoy the fruits of using nuclear energy," Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yossi Levy said.
He also added: "The international community should increase pressure on to force Iran to abide by international decisions and cease its enrichment activities and its construction of reactors."
Meanwhile the IAEA officially confirmed that the Bushehr nuclear plant started operating and that Iran had begun loading its long-delayed Bushehr nuclear power plant with fuel. Thus, Iran now can develop its own nuclear energy. The Bushehr station will be under control of IAEA, its spokesperson told media.
Before the Iranian side said that the plant would start its nuclear program in this year’s November, and by 2011’s March it would produce maximum of nuclear electricity equal to 1,000 megawatts.
