Scientists discover the smallest frog in the world
Colombian and Ecuador scientists have discovered the smallest frog in the world during an expedition in the border area La Bonita, RIA Novosti reported citing the National Television of Mexico.
According to the source, the female frogs are maximum 18 milimeters long and males only 12 milimeters long.
Smallest frog’s body is brown and transparent so that you can clearly see its skeleton.
The species were named Osornophryne cofanorum. They will be registered in the Colombian and Ecuador Red Books.
