Flight recorder from plane crashed in China found
The flight recorder from the Embraer 190 plane crashed in China has been found, vesti.ru reported.
Forty-two people died in the plane crash Tuesday night in northeast China. The Embraer 190 jet overshot the runway and caught fire when it was landing just after 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Yichun airport. Firefighters were still battling the blaze 90 minutes later.
The Henan Airlines flight took off from Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, on a short flight to Yichun City, 360 kilometers (225 miles) away near the Russian border.
Heavy fog blanketed the Yichun airport at the time of the crash.
There were 91 passengers, including five children, and five crew members on the flight.
According to Yuchun Mayor, 42 people were killed in the crash, 54 were injured, 7 out of them are in grave condition.
