AAA: Join the campaign to suppress anti-Armenian Propaganda

The Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) has launched an electronic campaign aimed at suppressing the pro-Azerbaijan propaganda over CNN TV. So, AAA calls on  to send protest letters to CNN TV.
 

Note that earlier, Azerbaijani media had reported that late this week CNN World View program is set to air a film on Azerbaijani reporter Chingiz Mustafayev, which features scenes shot by Mustafayev during the Karabakh-Azerbaijan war. The program is set to be aired 5 times, within 4 days, starting August 28.
 

Thus, it is a regular attempt to present Azerbaijan’s false and invented view over the tragedy that took place in the village of Khojali in 1992.

The point is that Chingiz Mustafayev’s video recordings done in 1992 in the Aghdam region caused Azerbaijani President Ayaz Mutalibov’s resignation, with the latter declaring that the tragedy was organized to remove him from his office.
 

Azerbaijani reporter’s materials had been never publicly broadcast. And as Heydar Aliyev took office the Azerbaijani Propaganda started to circulate forged video materials and photos ascribing them to Chingiz Mustafayev. A volunteer group disclosed the forgery and publicized it on a special website.
 

Czech reporter Diana Mazalova being on friendly terms with Chingiz Mustafayev declared  that she had watched the video materials shot by Chingiz Mutafayev while she was hosted by him in his house and asserts that the video materials circulated by Baku have nothing to do with them. “Those video materials made Chingiz go out with a bullet-proof vest on in his own country” she mentioned.
 

Chingiz Mustafayev died in June 1992, several months after he recorded the video materials in Aghdam. The location of the materials is not reported so far. Azerbaijan persecutes all those who strain efforts to find the video materials, and those who have ever watched them prefer to keep silent.

The Armenian Assembly of America campaign aims at preventing Azerbaijan’s attempt of turning the program to commemorate Chingiz Mustafayev into anti-Armenian Propaganda. So, AAA calls on everyone to join the campaign by sending protest letters  to CNN management.
