Azerbaijani foreign policy is a failure
Azerbaijani society is today distrustful towards country’s foreign policy, Director of the “Noravank” Foundation Gagik Harutyunyan told a news conference speaking about response of Azerbaijani and Armenian media to the signing of the Armenian-Russian protocol on extending the Russian military base deployment term in Armenia.
“Lately, Azerbaijan’s foreign policy is a failure,” speaker stressed implying Azerbaijan-Iran and Azerbaijan-Russia relations.
According to him, “Baku is not even pleased with its relations with Turkey” in spite of Gul’s recent visit to Azerbaijan.
Speaking about Azerbaijani media G. Harutyunyan said that Azerbaijani media are state-run, thus they are “reserved” and seem to be waiting for Dmitry Medvedev’s visit.
And Armenian media still need to reveal Russia’s image, according to Noravank Director.
