Iran plans not to stop on achievements, says Salehi
Chief of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi has said that Iran is planning to study in the near future opportunities for nuclear development in order to meet country’s demands which grow in energy.
Besides, Salehi said that there were additional studies in Iran, which allow “hoping that new uranium can be discovered exactly in Iran,” Russian media reported citing MIGnews.com.
In particular, Salehi was keeping in view “new opportunities of the newly opened fields” in addition to uranium mines in Saganda and Gyachin, and he said of enlargement of the budget in this direction.
“The exploration of minerals is being conducted to meet the growing demands of IAEO in the near eight-nine years. We are planning not to stop on achievements and we are looking for ways to expand uranium perspectives,” he said.
