Blast rocks mine in eastern Georgia injuring seven; four missing
A blast has rocked the Mindeli mine in eastern Georgia, when 11 workers were underground, local media reported.
Seven workers were seriously injured and rushed to hospitals. Other workers are still missing, there are not immediate reports about them. The searching operations are ongoing.
Nearly half a year ago, a blast at the Mindeli mine killed four workers and wounded several others, Rosbalt-Caucasus reported. Authorities later said that the blast was caused by leak of methane.
